Edges made from PMMA
Especially scratch-resistant

Polymethyl methacrylate has the highest aesthetic brilliance of all plastics and is more transparent than glass. Because PMMA is also particularly scratch-resistant, it is often used as a substitute for glass. We use acrylic for our 3D edges with three-dimensional depth optics. Because the decors are attached to the back of the edges, they are not damaged even under intensive use. Scratches or indentations on the surface can be easily polished away. Our PMMA edges are low maintenance and durable and are suitable for offices, kitchens, bathrooms, exhibition stands, shop fittings and contract furnishing.

Material properties at a glance:

  • Highest transparency and brilliance
  • Impact- and scratch-resistant
  • Resistant to heat and moisture
  • High quality and long-lasting
  • Extraordinary appearance
  • Polishable

Production and processing

We produce our 3D edges using an extrusion process we developed ourselves. Since the decor is on the reverse side, it is also completely preserved when milled and there is no disturbing frame effect. The initially satin acrylic surface can easily be polished to any degree of gloss. Our premium 3D edges are finished with a high gloss varnish.
