Edges made from ABS
Especially durable

Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene has been used in the furniture industry for more than 30 years and it’s no wonder. ABS is a chlorine-free, mechanically and thermally resilient plastic with a positive ecological balance. For the production of our edges, we have developed our own raw material recipe which guarantees long service lives for milling and other cutting tools, which in turn simplifies further processing. Our ABS edges are extremely robust, impact-resistant and durable and are suitable for offices, kitchens, bathrooms, exhibition stands, shop fittings and contract furnishing.

Material properties at a glance:

  • Impact- and heat-resistant
  • Chlorine-free
  • Positive ecological balance
  • High quality and long-lasting
  • Easy further processing

Production and processing

We produce our ABS edges using an extrusion process. Because we dye all plastics uniformly, the edges can be rounded off for a perfect panel finish without any problems. The coating of the back of the edges with a universal adhesive agent guarantees optimum adhesion to the substrate, regardless of whether you are working with hot-melt adhesives or other suitable adhesive systems.
