New line of sustainable PP edgeband solutions designed to meet the furniture industry's growing demands for environmentally responsible materials and regulatory compliance. Building on the strong foundation of PP Standard, a widely used material in the furniture industry known for its durability, efficiency.  SURTECO introduces two variants with significantly reduced carbon footprints: CIRCULAR 50 and CIRCULAR 100. SURTECO’s innovative approach ensures that customers can select the right solution, based on their specific sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.

SURTECO follows the Cradle-to-Gate approach to measure the CO₂ impact of its products, from raw material extraction to the moment they leave the facilities. This methodology accounts for Scope 1 emissions (direct emissions from internal operations), Scope 2 emissions (indirect emissions from purchased energy), and Scope 3 upstream emissions (those associated with raw material extraction, production, and transportation).

Applying the GHG Protocol methodology ensures compliance with international standards and alignment with the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), ensuring transparency and comparability in emission data for regulatory and sustainability reporting.

Think of it like green energy – Similar to green energy, where renewable energy is added to the grid and its use is tracked, sustainable feedstocks are introduced into production, with their usage monitored and verified.
