OMNOVA Films and Laminates to Rebrand as SURTECO
July 16, 2024
OMNOVA Films and Laminates is stepping into a bold new era by rebranding as SURTECO, effective August 1, 2024. This strategic move follows the 2023 acquisition and signifies a major milestone in the company’s journey towards operational consolidation and a consistent brand identity. During this period, the company has made significant strides in uniting its sales, operations, and design functions to optimize its ability to provide great service and an unrivaled range of decorative surface products to customers across North America.
This rebranding will allow customers to source all their needs from a single company, represented by one sales representative across all product lines. With seven manufacturing sites across North America, SURTECO is enhancing its ability to respond swiftly with new products and market-specific solutions, positioning itself as the go-to partner for all surface needs.
The company has already celebrated several significant achievements as a consolidated organization. The launch of the SPHERA Super Matte Collection offers customers cutting-edge surface design options with an elegant matte finish, unparalleled in the market.
Additionally, SURTECO has taken a significant step forward by announcing a major investment in a new rotogravure printing press. This state-of-the-art equipment will not only enhance production efficiency but also expand the company's capacity to deliver high-quality, customized solutions.
"We are ready for this new chapter and are confident that it will be an investment that allows us to deliver customer-centric solutions with the same reliability and excellence that OMNOVA was known for, now enhanced by the global support of the SURTECO name," said SURTECO North America CEO Terry Hemmelgarn.
In the coming months, several exciting developments are anticipated, including the launch of a new website dedicated to SURTECO North America with enhanced sales resources and tailored tools. The company will participate at the International Woodworker’s Fair (IWF) from August 6-9 in Atlanta, Georgia.
